This three bed ground-floor air-conditioned/heated apartment is situated on Naranjos 5 the lovely secure and gated golf resort of Condado de Alhama situated between the city of Murcia and the seaside town of Mazarron. The apartment looks out over a large communal pool and gardens, and is ideally placed for a relaxing holiday in the sun and for a dual centre beach and mountain break. The open plan living/dining area leads to a well-equipped kitchen for all your catering requirements. The accommodation is very flexible with two double beds , a single bed and bunk beds, ideal for a young family. The master bedroom has its own sun terrace and all rooms have large built-in double wardrobes with drawers for adequate storage. Linen and towels are provided. 100Mb WiFi is included.

The large pool is just outside the apartment with a safe section for younger children. In the gardens next to the pool there is play equipment for younger children. In the evening the gardens and pool are beautifully illuminated. A fifteen minute walk away in the commercial centre, Al Kasar, there is a large well-stocked supermarket, hairdressers/beauty salon, gymnasium cashpoints and a good variety of restaurants/bars.

Close by is the Jack Nicklaus personally designed Alhama signature Par 72, 6884m championship golf course with fantastic practice facilities, a driving range, clubhouse with pro shop, buggy and club hire and its own snack bar with wonderful views to the surrounding mountains.

Other onsite sports facilities are situated between Jardin 5 & 7 and include floodlit tennis, paddle, basketball & 5 a side football courts and a bar and restaurant. The resort has safe cycleways around, and is ideal for young families, due to the secure gated complex and onsite amenities. There is bike hire on the resort for very reasonable rates.

The Murcia region

The Costa Calida (warm coast) is the perfect base to explore the fabulous beaches, unspoilt surrounding areas and to sample the fantastic local foods and wine.

The city of Alhama de Murcia is just a short drive away. Al-hama, meaning hot springs in Arabic. The most interesting corner of Alhama is in Plaza Vieja, at the foot of the ruined castle, which was originally a watchtower built by the Moors. At Alhama you will find the gateway to the Sierra Espuña Nature Park where you can enjoy fabulous walks, rock climbing and cycling. The more adventurous may like to try horse riding or paragliding.

Mazarron is a 15/20 minute drive away and has wonderful unspoilt blue flag beaches. There is also a marina at Puerto de Mazarron with many boats for those of a nautical disposition. There are many superb bars and restaurants, some of course specialising in sea foods. Water sports are available if you feel energetic or just laze on the palm fringed beaches. Bolnuevo is just south of Mazarron, with its amazing rock formations and lazy beach life.
